Twenty seven years ago I was looking for something to buy to go on our new mantlepiece when I felt something tug at the strap of my shoulder bag. The "something" was the hand of a Coalport porcelaine figurine which then jumped off the pyramid style display it was standing on. Unfortunately, it was joined by a chain running through it's underarm to several other figurines which then all fell off the display in a circle. I have never seen a shop empty so quickly. It was carnage! I still freeze if I hear a crash in store's china deptartment. image Sylvia
