If tights are laddered but not the feet wear them under trousers in winter , in the past have cut off one laddered leg and saved to cut for ties , saved the good leg and body of the tights until the next pair laddered cut off that laddered leg and then inserted both bodies together so you have double thickness and 2 "new " legs .Warm in winter

Use bicarbonate and toothpaste (toothpaste and dip in bicarb - obviously you keep that separate from the whole packet in small container ) It really gets rid of stains

For itchy scalp use mouthwash and witchhazel mixed - squirt on with narrow top bottle , it really soothes
If you are trying to get rid of a hem mark perhaps to lengthen use white vinegar on the fold and press

After washing hair use a bit of vinegar in the final rinsing water - bit difficult if you wash hair in the shower !

Use shaving cream to remove dirty marks from upholstered furniture

Use ammonia 1 tablespoon in 1 pint of water to clean up marks from carpet like dogs dirty paws . kids feet

Use unused paintbrush to dust the tops of books and crevices of things (sorry that is the dreaded HWK )

When a tube is empty toothpaste or whatever cut in half and you can go on quite a bit longer

If you clean windows with liquid window cleaner you can dilute with water to make it last longer

I should sign this off as frugal Freda
