Hi

I use this service all the time as it is difficult for me to get to the post office. I usually print onto white paper and then stick it to the envelope with cellotape (there are guidelines on Royal Mail's website re attaching labels etc) but I have also bought adhesive labels and printed onto these. You can also print directly onto the envelope, but my printer doesn't do this very well, the envelopes usually get jammed. You can print various size labels including A4, A5, DL and C6 (this being the smallest). You do need to know the size and weight of your item so you can make sure you buy the correct postage (e.g letter, large letter, packet etc). Although this sounds a lot of information, it is very easy to do and once you've done it a couple of times you'll be away. If you need proof of posting, you can also print the certificate online when you create your postage label, and take this to the post office with your item for posting and they will stamp it for you.

I am far from a computer expert but have found this service invaluable and easy to use.
