Daft innit? Why would you bid for something higher than the buy it now price when you can buy it now at a lower figure? If you see what I mean...........

If a person wants to buy the item at a buy it now price it means they get the item with out fear of losing out in a bidding war. Say an item is £10 buy it now or £1 on the auction the fist bid of £1 may win the item. But then if other people want it the bids can actually rise higher than the BIN price. You   take the risk.
Hope that makes sense
