There was a nice craft shop in Wells but it has closed down. The stationers in Wells that sells quite a reasonable selection of craft stuff is called Swan Stationers - it's down the opposite end of town from the cathedral. The craft shop in Crispin centre at Street is a funny little place selling all sorts - well worth a rifle. And the Papermill is the Papermill, so to speak. No craft shops in Glastonbury - but lots of interesting shops for those with arty crafty interests. General things to do - Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace are lovely. The Good Earth (down the other end from the Cathedral, near Swan Stationers) does excellent vegetarian lunches. In Glastonbury, the Abbey Ruins, the Rural Life Museum and the Chalice Well are very interesting to visit - and the shops are weird and wonderful! There's a shoe museum in Street (I think it's still open ..) and Clarks Village (with the Papermill) for a more 'normal' shopping experience than Glastonbury.

Have fun!
