I want to know what part of no Southern Electric don't appear to understand.  We had one who called when we lived at Darfield, very pesistent sod he was demanding to know why we hadn't signed up to this thing - whatever it was.  I quickly realised it was a crafty way of luring peeps to leave BG, or whoever they were with.  They've turned up here a few times too, but they always get the same reply, that is if we bother to answer the door that is.  Anybody important knows to use the intercom buzzer.  Delivery peeps we either know they are coming, as in the post lady, or see the van parked outside.  Anybody else is usually ignored, especially folks who knock as they are obviously strangers, therefore must be selling something.

I've had BT phone me a few times trying to flog me their Internet.  They don't appear to understand the word no either.  Strange lot.
