We were at the Ironbridge Blist Village a few months ago and having a look around one of the old houses and being told by a lady who worked there what her life would have been like had she lived there. One man there said to his son how lucky he was to live now with his games, tv. foreign holidays ans so he went on. I took a look around and yes the house was sparsly furnished but everything necessary was there. The room was warm and cosy, there was bread baking in the oven, kettle on the fire, vegetables growing in the garden and chickens running around. Wife was at home. Could not help but think as a nation, to get to the computer games, tv and foreign holidays we have paid a high price.
