Well, after today - who knows. There are staff briefings next week regarding budget cuts. The budget isn't decided until February. I may survive this time but all of us are now apprehensive about what will happen in April next year, let alone the following years.

I feel for you too. We have been in suspense since June ... when this was originally meant to have been done! Previous to that they kept my section in suspense for 2 years saying that a restructure would be done "next month". How on earth are you meant to get the work done? Or perhaps they don't want it done at all.

It is so unfair of employers to add such stress to their employees lives. Oh, and part of the new job specs we were questioned about at interview is "being positive about the new structure". Talk about having to lie through your teeth because all the workers think the "new" way of working is daft and we are all being set up to fail so they can sell off the jobs to private sector.
