I was just looking at it before I saw the DSA2, it's £79.99 and don't even understand some of what it does!smiley: laugh

PHLIPPA, depending on what you want, straightforward text is:
open a blank document, either click on the transparency icon and it will go white, or go to the paint can and "fill" with white.
Choose the colour text you want, top box will give outline, bottom box will give fill. So if you want  a bold font, in say black and red, the outline will be one colour and inside that will be the other.
Click onto the A, down the left hand side, that's your text, then go to your font, and choose what you want. There is a little box to one side, that you can choose the width of the line, 1,2,or 3, the 3 being the thickest.  Choose the size you'd like (next to the font as in word or any other programme.
On your new doc, hover over it with your mouse, it will be a large +, and then just type. I do one word at a time, then click  APPLY, a red box will show up over your text, and you can do all sorts with that, but for just the basics, make sure your word is where you want it,  centralised or whatever, when that's ok, go to the TMB, to SELECTION, click on that and then SELECT NONE. That will be your first word done, then repeat, putting your cross where you want the next word to be. START AT THE RIGHT HAND SIDE because the text will move to the left when you type.
There's SO much more, but it would take all night for me to type out. xx
You have my addy, so if you get stuck just mail me xx
