I can understand her - I have already told my family what I  want (hopefully not for a very long time!) - no black clothes, no expensive coffin/cars/flowers, no solemn music - 'Morning has Broken', a quick prayer and then they can go off to the pub - no funeral tea.  I know how much one of my sons would struggle with a conventional funeral, and I went to one last year which was so doom laden there felt like there was no hope left in the world.  I have also been to a humanist funeral - my cousin - it was a celebration of his life, led by a lady who wasn't a minister of any faith.  It was a lovely service.
I hope all goes well for you on Monday.
