Sue, I feel for you and the rest of your family. It is devastating when things like this happen. My brother-in-law had his wife leave him 2-3 years ago and she left all the kids behind. Then she realised she wouldn't get as much she didn't return two of them one week-end and eventually after so many court appearances they decided to keep the children split and the dad couldn't have all the four children like in the beginning. He does have them regularly and thankfully they were allowed to spend time last week with him when he got married again.

It is hard and Tracy will need all the support you can muster. It will be extra hard as you aren't able to go there to be with her, maybe she could come and stay with you for a few days until it all sinks. Keep fighting. Tracy has her rights as a Mum and you and your husband have rights as grand-parents.
