Just found this so here goes,
I'm Michelle, I'm 36 and have been married to Nick for 13 years. We have to lovely children, Andrew aged 11 and Georgia 18 months and a big softie for a dog our loveable but very naughty German Shepherd - Ella.
I've lived in Coventry all my life, just moved around different parts of the city but dream of moving to the countryside or seaside.
I work part time for the Environment team at Coventry University but was self employed as an accountant until recently when I decided I'd had enough stress!!
Apart from crafting pretty much daily and attending local craft fairs, I'd like to set up a local craft group but have yet to do so. I am also Akela for our local cub pack and Nick is assistant beaver leader (they don't get Jungle Book names at beavers!), Andrew is in the scouts and Georgia is currently our pack mascot lol. I love doing all sorts of things with the pack - since I have been Akela the pack has become more crafty and we now hold an annual craft competition within the district, each pack enters a team of 6 cubs and they have 1 1/2 hours to build a model - they know the theme beforehand but they don't know til just before they start what they actually have to build. This year the theme was under the sea and they had to build a sea monster. Each pack did a fantastic job!! They also have an individual entry competition where based on the theme they produce a piece of art which falls into 1 of 3 categories: Self Portrait, landscape or futuristic. We have some extremely talented young people and the standards are always very high.
I also love to travel and have been lucky enough to spend a lot of my time in France and Spain but wish I could do more. My favourite trip was to Lapland, such a beautiful country and I want to go treking and sleding there again when Georgia's older.
I love learining new techniques for my crafting and look forward to picking up more hints and tips from you all as well as sharing some of my creations with you.
Love
Michelle xxx
