I have it sussed Lorraine - I only iron when there is something on tv I want to watch!   sit at the ironing board on my typing chair - saves back strain as it swivels ( I never stand, except to do curtains).- jug of water on the table ready for refills and away I go - not that much needs "heavy" ironing, more a quick swish with the steam iron.  I also pre-sort the ironing in the order I want to do it - so as I iron, it is sorted ready to put away!  So I am not wasting craftying time - just utilising time that I would just be "sat sitting" doing nothing!  Sort of time and motion study! smiley: roll
