We're going to view a house tomorrow afternoon.
It's not exactly what we're looking for but we need to keep looking in case someone manages to secure the one that we want before we manage to sell ours!!
This one doesn't need any work done on it which is a plus but until we see it we're not sure whether we'll be able to adapt the living space to suit us. The outside space is fine and it stands alone, though we know that a house is being built reasonably close so we need to find out how close. Fortunately I'm not doing the searching.
Tim and Sarah are finding places and then I'm checking them out before agreeing to view.

Tim and Sarah are finding places and then I'm checking them out before agreeing to view. Well, we'll not be buying that one. We want one in the country but not too far out and that one was just a bit too far. It was built in the 1700s and was solidly built but it only had one bathroom and not enough space to make another. It had plenty of land with it, stables but no garage, and was out in the wilds. I think I would have become a recluse if we'd settled for that. We checked out one that we knew about but hadn't organised a viewing date. I had to climb a five bar gate to get into the grounds
but I did it!
Sarah was laughing and making fun of me and I said if she can do it when she's 70 I hope that I'm around to laugh at her. Anyway, the house need lots of work done to it but the rooms seem a reasonable size and the land is perfect for our needs. We'll arrange for a viewing in a couple of weeks time. T&S are both working shifts so that's the next time we can get a date to suit us all. Back to the drawing board! Hazel
