Hi everyone asking for those infamous sheenie vibes please.
Mum was admitted to hospital last night with what they are pretty sure is a heart attack, and not the first according to what they are seeing on the ECG etc...we got home just about 4am this morning.
They are talking about tests etc on Monday, but Mum is notorious for not accepting them and not staying in...but this time I think she has realised just how serious it all is. Not that she does not understand in fact the contrary she is a Nurse, once a Nurse always a Nurse.
I will have more information later.
xx thanks

She has agreed to have the angioplasty done, it took hours of talking to her and my brother and I also discussed it and we both agreed that it is the only viable chance of survival that she has to be blunt. So that is the advice that we gave to her. Her vicar who is also a close friend was there this afternoon and she is jolly blunt, and put it in no uncertain terms. ~In fact the conversation ended up in the ridiculous and the black sense of humour that medical peeps often have, lord only knows what anyone who over heard it must have thought. They will do the procedure in 24/48 hours from Monday afternoon. The Doctor just said thank you for making the right decision and her relief was so obvious - that even Mum took note. She is still strict bedrest and even if she moves at all even her hands and arms the red alarm is going off on the monitors. They are brilliant in there and no sugar coating at all, which suits Mum and us nicely. I think that is one of the reasons why she is really listening and agreeing to this at last. Just waiting for the phone call to say she is being transfered. And yes I sat there for three hours today knitting....could not have nothing to do with my hands.
