Hi Lou, I think it usually refers to an image on a page. Do you have any of Joanna's cd's? If so, and you were to open one of the pages containing
toppers, I think any one of the topper images would be referred to as a tile.
Does that make sense? I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm barking up the wrong tree. Ang x |

I think it's maybe something to do with background papers?? Like you can "tile" an image to create a background in photo editing software.
You can also have a tea bag folding "tile" Hope this helps Andrea x |

I agree with Andrea,

It could be either. It depends on the context it was used in?

Yes suppose your right J, would be easier if a term for something related to only 1 thing, make life a whole lot easier and less confusing.

Meryle uses small tiles on her collections doesn't she.. These are a smaller version of the toppers.
But mostly I think it is used for backing papers as Andrea has said Hugs Ida xx |

If its in Paper crafting context you are asking about I agree with the TeaBag tiles and backing papers tiles idea!
You can make your own Teabag tiles in Paint Shop pro. Photo Impact or other similar programs and make backing papers with them! I have made tiles from my own Photos which is great fun! Margaret |
