Dear Mr Hazel
I think you are being very irresponsible in not letting Hazel have that puppy. Now just tell me - how are you gonna feel if she develops heart or joint problems because she wasn't taking enough exercise or depression for want of puppy-love? Do you want her to put on weight and look frumpy or do you prefer her to keep her sylph-like figure because she is getting fresh air and exercise. Think of all the things she has done for you over the years, is a puppy really TOO much to ask for? In a year's time do you really want to be saying "oh, if only I'd let her have the puppy I wouldn't have a fat, frumpy, depressed and ill wife"? Now come on you know it makes sense. Yours sincerely Jacqueline xxxx (the kisses are only if you let her have the puppy) PS You really don't want Paula and her pancakes to come round, believe me! (I've done my best Hazel!) J
