Have some of the stamps for treasure boxes and seem to be doing OK - they are fab. But I think I am using too thick card - when I cut out either by sissors
or craft knife the edges seem a bit - ohhh I don't no what but i'm sure they should look better. I know I'm a bit of a perfectionist but they seem
to have a bit of a raised edge on the underside edge of the cutting. does this make sense and can anyone advise what gsm card is best.

Well, everyone has their favourites but I find slightly lighter cardstock is better, around 200gsm. It gives a better cut finish and the embossing doesn't
chip off either. The finished box is stronger than you think, especially when you add the top and bottom 'filler', can't remember the right word

Try using the side of your thumbnail to smooth out the rough edge or hold the knife at a slightly different angle and make sure the blade is razor sharp.

I'm not sure if I remember correctly or not, but I seem to recall Jayne saying that 160 gsm is good.
