Yuku won't let me play this morning...........................I can't reply to any threads so thought I would try and say 'Hello' to you all
this way.
Did any other carers get the notification of the humongous great rise in their carers allowance?  Spend it wisely preferably in installments

All that whizzing about on the Dyson obviously upset Yuku for you. Have any 'muscles' arrived yet, to help move the furniture? When they've finished, can they please zoom over here as I've about a week's worth of repairs to do after the gales, including a barn roof which has blown off for the second time [I managed to 'knit' it back together in time honoured fashion with baler twine, but another section escaped during the last blow]. Yes me muscle arrived
last night and we have had a shufty round a bit.
John has had a rotten night and I have been wide awake since 3 am. No rest for the wicked. Sue there is no way I am going to spoil your surprise

My son is my carer and when he had his notification this morning, his first words were "well do I buy the Porche or the new BMW. What a load of
c..p!!!" Can't say I blame him, its an insult to all carer's and is actually undermining the fantastic work they do. My son is 24 and he
willingly gives his time and energy to help me. He is up in the night with me, if just to make me a cup of tea and talk to me to try and take my mind off the
pain. He helps in the house and does all the things that not many 24 year young men would do. I think that the powers that be should live their lives for one
week. They wouldn't last, and that is one bet I don't think I'd loose. Yet they give themselves very nice pay rises. My blood boils when I think
about this so called "rise".
