Got up early to make a cuppa tea. I couldnt be bothered to go back to bed so curled up pn Setee and watched some TV! Woke up a couple hrs later and decided to go get some breakfast and another cuppa! In the process I managed to fall thru the kitchen doorway--dont ask how just one of those things my feet got tangled! I managed to hit my mouth across the mug I was carrying and ended up with badly cut lip! There was blood all over! My neighbour took me to A&E where it was decided I needed 3 stitches. Had to wait a while cos there was a couple of REAL emergencies! Im glad to be back home now tho the Local Aneasthetic is wearing off and Im feeling very sore! Not allowed to have anything hot today and it is difficult to drink at the moment even with a straw! I know Im going to have a large bruise before too long! The one Good thing is Im back in good time to watch Joanna this afternoon and I have a valid excuse for just resting! Apart from all that I am fine! lol Enjoy Joannas show this afternoon! Ive already ordered my disc! Margaret XX

I did much the same sort of thing a few months back, I fell out of the kitchen into the hall and luckily only suffered bad bruising and carpet burn! I broke my foot as well. Try sucking an ice lolly or ice cubes, that helps with the bruising and the swelling a lot. I do hope you feel better soon, really shakes you up badly. X
