So far this week I have had a stand up row with the recycling men over a car battery, the parcel postman shoved a" while you were out" card through the door this morning - WHILE I WAS FLAMING WELL IN , and didn't even knock and I have now received a letter regarding changes to Maia's dentist with another child's full name and address details in it - which means someone, somewhere now has full details for my 6 year old . Best of it is the letter today was to replace a letter received on Saturday with incorrect charge details in it !!! Talk about getting things wrong. Please tell me that things can only get better cos I starting to get right narky Jo xxx

Know how you feel about the postman - I've had that happen too. I took an old car battery to the recycling centre as they don't collect them in my borough. As for the wrong bill well that's carelessness. Jan

Posts: 2290 (29/04/2008 13:37:18) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	We have been able to recycle car batteries from home for about 2 years so carefully placed it in the red recycling box (not allowed to stand them on the pavement) and left it out. Collection team arrived and a young lad picked up the battery and promptly dropped it - landing right on the corner. Then he took it over to the lorry but was told that there was no room as the battery compartments were full of textiles??, so promptly threw it from the middle of the road back onto the pavement. How it didn't start leaking everywhere I'll never know. A few very strong words later the boss of the lorry managed to find room for it after all. Why on earth would anyone throw what is basically a box full of acid through the air!!!! Jo

At least you know why you are grumpy - I have had loads of minor irritations but nothing to make me as grumpy as I am - the poor lads at work are just keeping out of my way. I just want to sit do nothing or rather be at home and watch C&C. Think a day off is needed. Sarah xxx

Bored stiff at work, weepy, angry with OH, snappy with everyone. If I have to type one more boring letter I will SCREAM! I feel like I am in prison every day and let out to go home every night!! I feel for you Ann stuck in an office typing boring letters. As for posties my post man has a little ritual its called lets see if i can get the parcel through the letterbox , oh no it may have gotten stuck ah its come out better ring the bell. Happens every time no matter how big the parcel is. We don't have a recycling collection much to my disgust lb

Whenever someone is in a bad mood, my Dad blames it on the position of the moon lol! Deep breath, count to 10 (or more) and think tomorrow is another day. My Dad also thinks a drop of the falling down water will help calm the nerves too....he is nearly 80 so it hasn't done him any harm Hope you all feel better tomorrow. Hugs Jan x

OH put the kybosh on it - don't ask! He was being helpful, as always! Am praying there will be some places left on the weekend by the time I manage to get to see my doctor! Hugs Marion W
