i got into crafting because i was ill and my nurse and mum said you need a hobbie to get your mind of things i did fimo to start with
then salt dough then card making |

Never got into it as such, it's something I've always done for as far back as I can remember.

I've always done some sort of crafting, sewing, knitting (after a fashion lol), cross stitch, glass painting. You name it and I've had a go at it. I
still do cross stitch but not very often as it takes me years to finish anything. I love cardmaking because you can see results so quickly and its really
relaxing.
I'm not keen on watching tv so I'd rather listen to music and do some crafting anyday Claire xx |

Ditto - I have been doing crafts (one thing or another) all of my life and got fed up with the rubbish cards in the shops.
Now everyone expects a hand-made card on their birthday etc.!!! Don't you just love it! Jan

I got into it when I bought some christmas card making packs at work for nieces and nephews and decided to have a bash myself. The rest is history...
At that time I was also caring for my dad who had terminal cancer so making the cards occupied me for a few hours and made me feel a little better. My dad liked looking at the cards I had made too. I think he was glad that I had found a new hobby that took my mind of things for a couple of hours. |

I have always been interested in crafts and have dabbled in different ones over the years. When my son was little we made some Christmas cards for his friends
at school one Christmas, but that was all, until a few years ago I was flicking through TV channels and came across C & C. Say no more!

i started when i had my first baby 28 years ago
and hubby was lorry driving so away a lot started with knitting and dressmaking then cross stitch now mostly paper crafts but do still love cross stitch x |

Again, for as long as I can remember I have embroidered, painted, made things etc etc. I was hooked on stamping when I spotted my first stamp, the PSX
botanical rose, and the rest just evolved!!
