I had to insure two cars yesterday. We haven't had two since OH unceremoniously crashed and wrecked both the cars I had ever owned within a few months
of each other a while ago, almost wrecking himself the first time... thought we'd better not tempt fate again for a while 
. Anyway, I am having another
car next week, mainly for OH to use for work It has cost a small country to insure both of them... and all I kept thinking... through the hours and hours that
I was on phone getting quotes... was... just think how much craft stuff I could buy instead...

oooh - I used one of the comparison sites for Pauls bike insurance and our home one. Got a brilliant deal on especially the home! ITs scary isnt it the price
of insurance these days -
note to self : I knew I had forgotten something when I was shopping - the packs of mini magnums for the wee freezer lol |

My son spent days online and ended up with Elephant I think. It's unbelievable what they charge these days! As he is under 25 it cost an arm and a leg to
put him on the insurance for our cars. Since son bought his own car OH wants to try going down to just one car for us, but I'm not sure. Then I'd have
to take him into work and pick him up if I want the car and the traffic to and from where he works is horrendous, so trying to plant the seed that we NEED
another car! Fingers crossed.

Yes my husband spends hours checking out insurances online - he also checks it out via sites that give you money back for doing it. I think last time he did
the house insurance he got something like £80 back. Not to be sneezed at.
He also buys vouchers for my shopping via one of our credit cards - saving me £6 on every £100 . Mags |

i know the feeling. my car is due insurance, MOT and tax all within a week and hubbys a couple of weeks later.
