I have just posted letters to my neighbours each side asking them to cut trees down and weed there garden on my side i used to do this but can no longer
do there gardens and they dont ever do there gardens i have tress springing up blocking out my light and no end of weeds come from each side i pointed it
out it was part of the rent agreement to keep the garden tidy just opped letters in the doors and i know they are both in so waiting for the out come will

hello ann no i dont get on with one side as they are strange people into drugs they are mother and son but live like husband and wife if you get my meaning .
the other side are ok but dont talk much english

Wishing you a peaceful resolution on the matter ...
my mum has similar problems she has an award winning wee garden but has to go into both her neighbours on either end and weed to stop it going through to her garden the neighbours dont mind well they wont she is tending their gardens...my mum is 72 in June and doesnt need this added pressure as she is finding gardening hard at the moment because of the added memories this wee garden holds for her and my dad who she just lost in Nov.. Hope it gets resolved without any trouble eh!!!! You should be awarded a medal for having the guts to send such a letter, but I wouldn't hold my breath if
I were you cuz by the sounds of it, on one side, they may not be fit enough, and on the other side, unable understand enough English, to decipher your letter.

well so far nothing i thought i would try the peaceful way with a letter . oh ann i do think its shocking fancey your mum at 72 having to do other peoples
gardens i used to do it with my neighbours just to keep my garden weed free but i cant do it now even my garden is to much for me tracey is a great help i have
stuck a deal with her to cut my grass and strim the edges and i will pay her its so worth it i only have to keep it tidy then

maybe beter to inform the Council Linda, and let them sort it out?
i think the problem nowadays is that new Tenants are not advised of the Rules and Regulations, soo they remain ignorant of the upset it can cause. hope it gets sorted for you though, as you say it's hard enough to keep on top of your own, let alone other peoples, jan x |
