I had a lovely toy in the 1950s something what it was a music box shaped like a pie when you turned the handle it played 4 and 20 black birds baked in
a pie but when it got to the bit when the pie was opened out popped a lot of black birds i also loved my typewriter but you had a dial you turned round
to type each letter what did you love the most

A kalidascope! I loved all the bright colours and different patterns!! I also loved a bride doll I got one Christmas!

in my brothers Action Man tank in her lovely dress!

A teddy bear, which I still have, sadly minus his eyes !
Also a Muffin the Mule String Puppet, gosh, that dates me ! I proudly took him to school when I was about five and the teacher ' confiscated' it and I never saw him again ! However, this started my love of the English Language because I ran home and asked my mother what ' confiscated' meant !!! Sonia |
