Can I sell on Ebay. |

I bought the DWS cd when it first came out and to be quite honest have hardly used it, (just not my scene) Would love to get either of the 2 latest cds, but
the only way I can afford to is by selling myDWS on Ebay. If I put it on there will everyone jump on my back or will it be OK to do it. Don't want to
ruffle any feathers.

CD's are always on ebay .. as long as its a genuine copy then you have right to do as you please its your choice

Can't see why not - it's a genuine CD and a genuine sale. Besides, you'll end up with a happy buyer and you have the pleasure of buying something
else!

I think that it is very generous of Joanna and anybody else who makes Cds to allow them to be sold on Ebay. We al make mistakes and buy some that we find are
not quite to our tastes. I bought a couple of Robert Adams Cds and decided that they werent for me. One of which had never even had the tamper proof seal
opened and when I put them on Ebay to sell I got a message from him asking me to remove them as it was illegal to sell his CD's

i wonder why sheila, after all you bought it so it belongs to you, your not selling copies of the original so cant see why there would be anything illegal
about it.

there are several companies that won't allow you to swap, share, sell, log in to ebay, breathe and whatever (I am kidding a bit obviously) with their CDs
and it varies from company to company - you are 100% welcome to sell an unwanted CD on ebay and hopefully you should get an ok price for it as DWS is the most
popular CD of all time ... so no problem at all Doreen
the only people that are not welcome to sell on ebay are those that think making copies of my CDs and selling them is fine - well it's not and Sharon is a big fierce and scary lady - almost every day she has somebody's auction pulled or the actual seller is banned from ebay - you'd think people would catch on to the fact we are watching eh? Thanks Joanna will put it on later, It's not that I don't like your cds as I have most of them, but this one just doesn't get used and I think your
latest ones will.

In the small print on the back of the Cd it says --- 'This CD is sold on the condition that it should not, by way of trade or otherwise be lent,re-sold,
hired out or otherwise circulated without the publishers prior consent'

Gosh I didn't realise that about some CDs - how very annoying ? I mean I am completely and utterly disgusted by people who copy them and sell them but
surely if you buy something and don't like it you should be able to sell it on. After all that Robert guy (not heard of him before) has had his profit for
the CD - does he want you to send it back so that he can sell it again?
I suppose not allowing them to be sold in any way will stop the copies being sold too - however I wouldn't buy anything of his. I haven't bought any Disney or Flower fairy stuff since finding out years ago that you can't sell what use them to make. Ann xxx PS: Haven't got Sky tv so probably reason for not knowing who he is. |

I recently had a good clear out and sold some on ebay..had 18 watchers at one point..boy did i feel i was beeing watched.lol

Robert Addams sells his own CD's on e-bay direct ........... probably doesn't want the competition for sales. Quote from one of his auctions (which is

I hate the people who copy and sell things that aren't their's to sell, and would never buy from them. But on the otherhand, if I've paid for it, I
think I should be able to swap or sell it on. It's genuine after all and secondhand, and if someone wants to buy it I can't see the problem. Having
said that I will nolonger consider buying other CD's from Robert Addams (have one) because it could turn out to be a waste of money if I don't like
enough of the images and I'd be stuck with it. So that's his loss not mine.
Jan PS I'm in a mood because I'm in pain, terrible toothache and the antibiotics from the dentist haven't kicked in yet. Painkillers don't seem to be working either. |
