Well have had the most wonderful day with Jayne Nestorenko - An at home workshop - Made 3 super Oriental cards - learnt loads of new technique's, using
Fantasy Fibres to stamp on and making own beads plus loads of hints & Tips.
Was late for a start (Please Note there is no exit off the M1 at Junction 17 coming south - you have to go on to the next junction and do a U turn - (Husband not amused) - Didn't have Jaynes number with me (husband further not amused) so had to ring my sister in Kent to look it up and phone Jayne with apologies). Then as I thought I made an upside down card - will side wrong - on 2nd Card. I'd already made the glue to thick on the glitter on acatate card (its still not set so will not be able to finish card till tomorrow. After a delicious lunch - the third card went very well. Bought lots of new stamps and things to try - glossy accents - fibers - cosmic paints - etc.
One of the hightlights of the day was we were given a TASSEL to use on the thrid card
JOANNA - MESSAGE FROM JAYNE - she needs red and gold & Black tassels - she's only got Green one's left and nobody wants to use them!
Will promise to put the cards on the forum when I have finished them off and taken Photo's. Will try tomorrow, but as its my birthday I'm having a lay in, and I've lots of HW to do as well.
Anyway anybody whos going to one of Jaynes workshops or has the opportunity your have a great time.
