To the two" men" who looked the other way when my daughter was attacked and mugged today after picking up her 10yr old from school. She had her 3yr
old twins and the baby in the pushchair so she was an easy target,he took her mobile phone . The children were terrified seeing their mom getting pushed about
and even though she was screaming for help the only ones to come to her were 2 school boys who walked her home.I just hope that if those men have got daughters
the same never happens to them. What a world we are living in,i just thank god that they are all unhurt.

OMG Debbie thats dreadful, some men eh! mice more like. I know people don't always want to interfere these days but to see a woman with children being
robbed in the street you would have thought they would have gone to her aid. So sorry this has happened, hope your daughter and the children are okay now.

Debbie how horrible for your daughter and children. No one would wish that experience on anyone. By turning away they condone the action of the attacker.
I'm glad no one was physically hurt but like you, I feel angry about the bystanders who did nothing to help her. EuniceX |

How awful for your daughter, and her children having to see it happen. I am glad that they were not hurt physically, but such a traumatic event could cause
some unpleasant dreams for your grandchildren

How awful for them Debbie. She must have been really shaken up and I expect her concerns were for the safety of the children. Trouty x (Jean)

It's a reflection on the world we live in today. Sadly some people have been attacked in the past for helping and a lot of people now just don't want
to get involved.
I am glad your daughter and her children were unharmed but it was still a traumatic event for all concerned. Jan |

So sorry to hear that this happened.
But would like to give a big pat on the back to the two schoolboys who 'shamed' so called men by their actions. Just goes to show that despite all the press not all schoolkids are bad. Love and hugs Teejay x |

Thankyou everyone for your good wishes, she phoned the police who turned up within mins, she said they were fantastic and radioed
a discription out of the yob to cars in the area. The twins are very upset and keep going on about the naughty man who hurt mommy,Ryan the oldest feels bad as he thinks he should have protected his mom,he has cerebral palsy and has limited use of his arm and leg so this has made him feel so bitter about his disability.. debbie1 |

Gosh Debbie that is awful.
I hope the local paper get to hear of this and the young lads get well deserved praise for their efforts, and that the "men" who looked away are made to feel very small. I know if I was in similar situation I would probably write a letter to Editor on similar lines to your post - the school boys should be praised for their actions in publlic. Mags |

How awful for them all, I do hope the children get over this soon it's amazing how quickly they can bounce back. Your daughter however will probably take a
little longer.
They should all be flogged when caught there is just no deterent these days. Sending hugs for them all. |

Oh my, what a horrible ordeal for your daughter and her children. Perhaps she may benefit from contacting a support network, like Victim Support? Your local
police will have details I'm sure.
And as for the 'men' who walked on by... most people, deep down, are made of decent stuff, but then you get others who seem to have missed their humanity programming altogether. I can't say anything polite enough about them that would be printable here, just that the universe won't be so kind to them as to the school boys I'm very sure. Love and hugs to you all, I'm so sorry that this has happened. Lavender XX |

What an awful thing to happen, in broad daylight, a mum with her children! I can remember when we felt safe to go out in daytime. Come to that, I can remember
when it was safe to go out at night! Pity the same thing can't happen to the lout who did this to your daughter, he may not be so quick to do it again.
I hope the family get over this quickly, and I too think Victim's Support may be the way to go. Paula x |

Hi Debbie, I hope your daughter and children are okay today, and they can manage to put this awful thing out of their minds soon. Your poor little grandson
feeling guilty because he couldn't protect his mum, how sad is that. I too think Victim Support is a good idea, especially for the eldest boy who feels so
bad about the ordeal, hugs to them all.

One can only guess what it must have been like for your daughter Debbie. It could have been so much worse, I think its terrible that in broad daylight ,no-one came to help her. I do hope they are all ok and thanks to the schoolboys who tried there best to help her. Hugs Rita xxx |
