The Red Arrows have aways been incredible! But then, I'm biased, many years ago, my ex was part of the team, so I'm afraid they are the best display
team in the world.

Even before looking at the link I was agreeing with you Sue!
I have grown up and even got a lot older having the Red Arrows flying around us! Everytime I see them I just have to stop and watch. Living just a couple of miles from Farnborough we see them every 2 yrs at the AirShow and as that is on this year we will shortly be seeing them flying around practising and then during the show its self! Everytime they are here I still find myself ducking when they fly low over our house! Their skill make you proud to be British! Margaret |

one of the pilots from the red arrows used to live near to us,and a couple of years we had them do a display at our local carnival.they are first class

Also a huge fan who lives a couple of miles fom Farnborough and watches their display from the garden!!
I love the (possibly apocryphal) story when they were due to appear at a summer show and the advertising proclaimed 'Display by the Red Arrows (in village hall if wet).

I serviced the aircraft of Red1 when he went through training. I was a chivenor where all the fast jet pilots go through training so many of the red arrow
pilots passed through there.
I have also flown in a hawk aircraft. Not a red arrow but a grey one. No roller coaster can come close to it, doing barrow rolls as we followed the M5 back home was the icing on the cake. Sarah xxx |
