Hi everyone. It's been a while since I posted, but I have been reading posts when I can. I am having a rough time with this vertigo at the moment. I have
seen the specialist, had MRI scans and a balance test, and the specialist has said I am a medical mystery. The good news is, my vertigo is not being caused by
anything nasty, such as a brain tumour, but the bad news is he has absolutely no idea what is the real cause. So now I have to see a physiotherapist that
specalises in balance problems, and hopefully she can diagnose me. I have been told it could be caused by problems in my neck, and I have had problems in my
neck and shoulders since an injury at work in 2001. Plus with working as a nightfiller from 2004-2007, the problem may have gotten worse. So here's hoping
this physio can cure me once and for all of this horrible dizziness. It really does get you down that you never know when it will hit. So you live in a
constant state of alert. Last week I went to the gym to start trying to get rid of the weight I've put on since I started getting vertigo, and 10 minutes
into starting walking on the treadmill, I had to go sit down. I then spent the next 2 days in bed. I know that there are a few vertigo sufferers on here, and I
know you all feel the same way. It's just good to get all this out. I am so glad I have found this site, as it is helping keep me sane. I haven't done
any crafting for a couple of weeks as I don't feel up to it, but at least by reading the posts on here I can get some inspiration when I do feel like
crafting again. Thank you all for being here.
