I can't wait for our new bed to arrive, it's another month unfortunately, but it'll be good to have a decent mattress which I'm hoping will improve things. I've been struggling all day and have had enough, so sorry to vent, but I just had to tell someone! Love and hugs, Lavender XX

I bought a Tens machine for my arthritis and find it helps a lot. It's a bit odd to start with, but once you get used to being electrocuted it's fine! The memory bed topper also helps a lot, it stops too much pressure on the joints. Probably doesn't feel as good as eating a Magnum tho. I have just bought a bar of fruit and nut. I wish this weather would get better so us poor old souls don't feel so much damp in our bones! Sue

I feel a bit embarassed having posted now - it was very late last night, well early this morning actually, and I was at a low ebb. You're all so right, I always feel worse in the damp weather, it plays havoc doesn't it? I do feel a bit better for having more sleep than the previous night but am still feeling really sorry for myself today, although you are all lifting my mood. I'm like a tortoise - running about in hot weather, wanting to hibernate in the not so good stuff - this is why I want to live in Australia for a bit, to see if it will make a difference. Anyway, I'm gushing now, so I'll stop before you all get truly fed up with me This is one of the reasons why the forum means so much to me - if you are ever at a low point, you can post how you feel, and get all these wonderful messages coming in from cyber space - it means so much Love and hugs back to you, especially to anyone else with creaking bones and joints today.
