I buy my cat food in cardboard trays of 12 x tins - now you are all thinking 'so what', this is a craft forum! Read on ...
I unpack the tins and keep the trays in my craft room. They are excellent as 'glitter boxes' - clean sheet of paper in the bottom, catches all the spare glitter, saves it from floating round the house and makes it easy to return to the pot. Same goes for Flower Soft, or embossing powders. I also use one when cutting out decoupage, once again - clean sheet of paper in the bottom, lay each piece down in the order it will be needed. Once the design is put together I leave it in there until the card is ready. Keeps it clean and safe. One last use - they are just the right size for A4 paper, so any paper that I have misprinted or otherwise don't need any more goes in one of these trays, labeled Scrap Paper, and is used for working with messy stuff! When they become too messy, they go in the recycling bin. The cats don't mind me taking them - as long as I leave the food alone - so everyone is happy. Happy Crafting !!
