The background to this footage is the plane had an engine failure shortly after takeoff and didn't have the power left to climb. The pilot was ex-military.......and, it shows!

Good grief what an amazing bit of film. The pilot was just amazing able to turn and land the plane like that. Glad I was not on that flight though.

All credit to the pilot if he hadn't dipped his wing what a catastrophe absolutely amazing he deserves a whopping big bonus
and to land so near the coast without any problems brilliant, hats off to that man I just hope there was no one in the water where he landed.

Me thinks this could be a godd bit of film editing! I am sure that a plane of that weight would have caused a few more ripples than that on the water,
regardless of the speed at which it was travelling!!!!!!!!
