As some of you may be aware I have been puppy walking a prospective assistance dog. Sadly, following a very rapid decline Archie had to be euthanised this
afternoon. It is looking at present as though he was poisoned, but must wait for the results of a post mortem tomorrow. I am absolutely furious that such a
bright young puppy could literally die before my eyes, the vets have been brilliant but sadly it was all in vain.
It seems that young Archie got hold of some poison used for vermin, the exact type won't be known untill next week. I don't keep anything like this around the house and garden and although we have searched we have been unable to locate the source.
