For someone that exists with mainly the George Foreman grill and a chicken breast or steak for us each night with some salad - this Christmas has been a real
"change" (read into that what you like!) today is my last day then things can go back to normal tomorrow - I have cooked for 7 or 8 every day since
the 23rd and I never want to see a large lump of meat or a potato peeler ever again (well for a while lol) So today we have a choice of lamb or pork (I am
beginning to feel like a carvery) and I am off to sort parsnips and sweet potatoes and sprouts with chestnuts etc ....
I will then take the greatest pleasure when poor old Richard (who has worked his socks off too) asks what's for dinner tomorrow night - saying leftovers - help yourself lolol
suddenly boiled eggs and soldiers sounds really good to me .... and maybe an apple ..... too much festive food has taken it's toll!!
