I have had no internet for 8 days while waiting for a new modem to arrive so anyone who has had a birthday please forgive me for not sending birthday wishes..
Too many messages to catch up with so hope I haven't missed anything exciting. Its been like having a limb chopped off.

Welcome back!
I want to go back to BT from NTL or Virginmedia as it is now but am dreading being without the net for some reason. The last time I tried to get BT broadband they couldn't get it to work, but that was some time ago. I called Sky surf and talk but they won't do it through a cable company so if I want to switch to any other provider I have to go back to BT first to get a bt line. Catch 22 really. Can't be helped but..... Jan x |

I have a friend who changed to virgin about a month ago she had so many problems she is changing back to bt goes live I think next week.

I think with NTL it's either excellent or rubbish!! Everyone says it should be better now that it's Virgin, I think it's brilliant. It's the
one and only provider I've had, so am biased , and I wouldn't touch TALK TALK with a bargepole. Have heard NOTHING but complaints about it. xx Jacqui

Crikey A whole 8 days I have been off for about 6 hrs today and I was miffed. I have been installing a new psu because the old one has got really noisy and
thought the fan was going. Installed the new unit and some times it came on and other times it didn't . So had to put the old one back in. Looks like I
will be going to the computer shop tomorrow.
