Could Arlene have refused to accept the pay cut the others all took so lost herself the job? I don't know if that's what happened, but am just thinking it a possibility, in which case she lost it for herself. As for her replacement the best person would've been, in my opinion, the choreographer who was used to train the dancers to do the group dance. They're paying her to do that so why not pay her to be the other judge too? She's clearly knows her stuff because the dance was great, she's there on the programme already and Arlene used to choreograph group dances before so it has been done - the being a choreographer and a judge - before. I'm sorry I can't remember her name, but she knows more about dance than Alysha does, although I don't think she made herself look an idiot with the comments she made.

I have to say I don't like the idea of one couple going out before all 16 couples have even danced. There could be a really diabolical couple next week and at the moment they're only competing against half the contestants! I'm with you on that one Jacqui it isn't really fair. I'm not keen on dividing the dancers into two groups, it is a bit messy. As I have said on the other thread, tonight was better but Alesha is a non starter, at least Arlene could give some pointers to help the dancers like the others on the panel, but anyone could say what Aleasha says. Brucie is not really on. I applaud him for the great showman he has been but time he bowed out. Also I get a bit fed up of Bruno jumping up and down like a jack in the box. I am still watching because of the dancers especially the demos by the professionals but I do think this year it lacks something, could do with a bit of a shake up. I am waiting to see Anton and Brendan dance love watching them.

Again agree with you Jacqui. Anton is always the same a perfect gentleman and a great dancer. Also I have seen Craig on other programmes and he seems a really nice person, although I don't like rude and sarcastic comments to the competitors, genuine remarks about their dancingOK but not in a nasty way. Bruno made a crack about can't think of her name the oxo lady which was not necessary, it can't be very pleasant to have rude remarks made to you as your stand before the judges. As you say though Craig is so very often right. Hugs Dorothy
