Oh, dear its been a long day !!!!I have been up since 5 this morning , to make sure I didn't sleep
in .... Daughter picked me up at 6.30 to catch the train from Tamworth to London. 7.17.
We were in London at 8.30 my that was a very fast train. it would have taken us about 3 hours
to drive.
The whole of London was asleep when we got off the train, no shops open , no market etc
We stayed around Covent Garden, asked a lovely security gaurd what time London opens !!!!
He said about 10 "it is Saturday you know , people have been out all night Friday"
So we had breakfast, then the place started opening.
We walked and walked around as much as we could.
We were there to go to the Haymarket theatre to see Breakfast at Tiffany's
at 2.30pm
The end of the tale is , we were in the upper circle , and have you been there????
Wow its so high up, we were both a bit scared to find our seats we didn't move when we did,
even in the interval
And I am ashamed to say I fell asleep about 15 times through the play , only to dream quickly
that I was falling through the others in front of us, of course I wasn't
At the end of the day we had a lovely time just daughter and me, had some really giggle bellies
But we have been to lots of theatre nights and I wasn't impressed at all, actually didn't like it
but couldn't say that to our daughter could I? Well we did have a talk about it, but hey we were
together and she bought a lovely pair of shoes in Carnaby St. Union Jack really high heels!!!!
they are like felt uppers and soft slipper inners
Oh envios me, I used to wear them , and that is what really gets me that I can't wear them any more,
Came in to show her Dad He said how are you going to walk in them?
She put them on in the shop and walkied aroud all day!!!!
Oh, and we listened to a man singing all the Show songs Chicago, Les Miserables, Joseph, etc .
Why don't these sort of fantastic performers go on x factor ?
I bought his cd it was only 10 pound. it will be on the player tomorrow
Now going to bed, just had to tell you all, what a lovely day we have had,
sorry if any spellings are wrong but i am sooooo tired
