I had my daughter on the phone earlier,almost in tears. They had just come back from London, and this evening around
7.00pm, Asda were supposed to deliver her Christmas Food // weekly shopping. The chap rang her at 8.00pm,already an hour late, telling her that they'd cancelled her
order, because the delivery men didn't want to drive in the bad weather! Well I could understand that if it were snowing or anything, but the roads round
here are perfectly clear, which she told the man, and his reply was "well I can't help that, BUT, we'll deliver it after Christmas, OR you can drive to Rushden (just outside Northampton)
and get it yourself!!" Now we have 2 Asdas in Northampton, but apparently they don't do the orders there, they do them at a warehouse! They've
come home, with 2 small kiddies, her husband has to go to work at 6.00am, and they had no fresh stuff in the house. It meant a 40 mile round trip for them to
go and pick it up, I can't tell you how angry and disgusted I am with them! The chap didn't even apologise,

To add insult to injury they've %#!+* taken £140+ out of their account to pay for the order, ( I know that my DD and SIL are ok in that repsect, but there are a lot of people who wouldn't be!, How dare they take their money after all this!!?) and as yet she can't even get a reply to her emails!! via the complaints bit
however, in a fit of pique today, she wrote and told them about their "wonderful" customer service, and also that she had just made a trip to Tesco, and spent £180!!
Now I have the address I'm going to put an official complaint in, and also tell them that I'm sending a copy to our local paper. I'm absolutely appalled at her treatment, and she hasn't even had an apology!
