Firstly my Father in Law came home on Monday, he was not well after the op, but thankfully he is a strong man and once the post op complication of the bowel not working due to being moved around, settled he was fine. Considering the aneurysm was the size of a grapefruit when they opened him up, it is a miracle he is here at all.
Then my Dad saw the Radiologist today, and they are going to start the Radium in three weeks, so that runs in conjunction with the chemo. He told Dad that normally a man of 81 they might not go to these levels but he is so physically fit, plus the tumor is responding so well that they feel they might be able to zap it completely. Well as completely as they ever can with cancer. As you can imagine that has done him the world of good to hear that, and also mum.
All we need now is for the hot weather to ease off a little and it would be wonderful.
And todays effort in the crafting line to actually go how I want it to..... asking so much now
