just had a telephone call from british gas call center was asked to confirm my name when i asked who was calling they asked again to confirm my name said i wouldnt until they told me where they were calling from, which she refused to do anyway she went on to say that she wanted me to pay my bill by debit or credit card before the end of the call, so i asked again who was calling and she finally told me she was from bg call center and that i would pay my outstanding account right now which i refused to do as it is not due while the 31st she then said that the account was outstanding and i would pay now i said i dont give c/c or d/c details out over the phone and i would send a cheque but im no very happy about it have sent an email complaining about her, im so dam angry it wasent that i wasent going to pay i was but it was the way the caller was with me that upset me the most............. hubby was in the shower when she called or i would have let him deal with it he has called them back but they say they dont no which agent it was that called me........ he no is refusing to pay the bill until we get an appolgy from them

it was british gas that called me this morning and im afraid no apology they told hubby that when you change from them to another supplier there bill is due stright away, then why does it say payable by the 31st august on it he asked and was told this is if you are still using them but nowhere on the bill does it say this, anyway hubby told him he would get his money when he got an apology, and not from him from the woman that spoke to me this morning otherwise he would pay it when he was ready, the chap said he would get a manager to ring us tomorrow to see if it could be sorted out, so we will wait and see what tomorrow brings,
