It was such a lovely day that I decided I should try to get the back garden in to some sort of order. I told you about the trees/shrubs that had been bent over with the weight of the snow and then had been frozen in to the pond. Well, Peter and his friend Ian managed to dig two out for me, after I'd sawn them off half way up the trunks. smiley: ohwell Another two were bent the other way and had got tangled up with another tree further along so I decided to get rid of those too. I went out with my saw and there they were - gone! It took me half an hour but at least I've managed to cut them so that they will grow again, but at a better angle. I took my garden refuse bin out and filled it with the thin branches and leaves that I cut up small. I'm left with the young trees to get rid of now. I was out there for about two hours but it has made a big difference. The garden looks much tidier but I'm absolutely shattered. I've had a bath and a nap on the sofa but I feel worn out. I'm cooking dinner and then nothing until after my table top sale tomorrow. I hope they provide seats there. smiley: laugh Hazel smiley: tired
