I lost 2 and 1/2lbs this week, making 6 + 1/2lbs in total, just missed my half stone award by 1/2lb. Oh well, will get it next week. Sylvi lost 3lbs this week, so she got her half stone award. I think it's because she is doing the Zumba, it must be helping her to burn off a bit more. I am not going to go for a few weeks, till I have got the diabetes medication sorted out, I've only just started taking the full dose 2 days ago.
Went for a meal Monday with some girls (there were 12 of us) I used to work with in the Bank. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast with some tinned tomatoes, so I still had my 'a' and 'b' choice if I needed them. I was very good, only drank diet coke and water. I had a feta cheese salad for starter. Counted the cheese as my 'a' choice. It had mixed leaves, one sundried tomato and a few olives and grapes, and was in some kind of dressing, so I counted everything bar the leaves and grapes as Syns. Then for the main I had a bacon chop, with new potatoes, cauli, carrots and red cabbage. There was gravy on it so counted that as Syns too. Then for dessert I had a fruit salad without cream, so that was free, and an ordinary cup of coffee to finish. I was really pleased with myself. One of the girls looked fab, she had lost 4 and a half stone. But she has done it with tablets from her Doctor, she said they were similar to Alli, in that you have to eat low fat, and if you don't - well lets just say you will be spending a lot of time in the loo.
So that's me this week. I hope you are all doing well and sticking to your plans, although this weather would drive anybody to the biscuit tin.
