I've been to the rheumo's this afternoon, and got to see heap big man in charge too (gorgeous, but that's another tale). He was very thorough and interested to hear all my symptoms regardless of whether they were joint related or not. I'm back on the tablets another doctor took me off in May (bit of a mistake, that was) and steroids for three weeks. He wants to liaise with the neurologists I'm seeing next week because he said there could be a connection and likes to know the whole of the patient rather than just their joints as each part of us relates to the rest. I think I might be getting heard and might get somewhere. I didn't say I was going because I've been quite scared of going out recently, after the spinning attack a few weeks ago, and just wanted to go and do it, without anyone other than Mike (my saviour) knowing, and then come back and tell the tale.
I didn't get to see the physio last week after a bit of a hiccup, but, by the end of the month, I'll have seen everyone I've been referred to and, hopefully, on the way to getting some answers.
