We have our electric with British Gas and have paperless billing. We do it all online including our meter readings. I sent the readings 30th Sept and I paid the bill yesterday, on line. Low and behold I have had my meter read this morning which to me seems a waste of money and defeating the object of doing everything online. Just rang BG and all they said was it was one of those things that gets done through the system automatically. Still seems a waste of time and money to me. No wonder their prices keep going up
