Like your style! We always sit at the table for all meals - this is in the kitchen. We use the dining room whenever there is more than the two of us. Hate eating off a tray. Tess x

When I was growing up we always ate at the table, and my children have done the same, even if hubby was away, they always ate properly at the table. My grandchildren always eat at the table too. I would never even think of having a meal on a tray in the lounge. This reminds me of the time about 6 years ago when we were invited for Christmas lunch by some friends, who were also on their own. I was really looking forward to it, as we had had some lovely meals in their dining room over the years, and they had lovely china and silver ware, and she always made an effort for everything to be just right. So I was somewhat surprised when Christmas lunch was served up on a tray in the lounge!!!!just didn't seem right somehow, and also difficult to balance without spilling the gravy etc.Coralie
