No I wouldn't be happy to pay more, I agree with Tina drop the large letter rates I think that put another nail in RM coffin when they did that. We are lucky if we get our post before 3.30pm and our postman is in a world of his own, always putting the wrong post in the doors but we don't complain about it who knows what problems he has and is trying to earn a living.
We will be cutting down on Christmas cards next year we put a letter in some of our cards this year explaining that because of the cost of posting we would not be sending them a card next Christmas but would be donating the money to "Help for Heroes" but would keep in touch by phone and emails. Received quite a few reply's in cards saying what a good idea and they would do the same.
It is a shame as I love sending and receiving Christmas cards but I feel happy to give the money to charity.
